Yuvatha Foundation functions with the vision to create a world where every child has equal opportunities to lead a fulfilling life. For this, empowering actions breaking the disadvantaging barriers of social inequality, ill-effects of climate change, access and quality in modern education, healthcare and well-being, livelihood opportunities are critical. Yuvatha Foundation engages at an individual and community level to promote its objectives. With the objective of creating an empowering world for the children, Yuvatha Foundation strives to:

Our Story
In 2015, Yuvatha Foundation was established by Ms. Shoba Rani Regunta. A very young lady herself, she was driven by love to children and was alarmed at the lack of caring and supportive environment for orphaned and vulnerable children in the community. A small care home initiated in a single rented room for a few needy children around her. Not an easy journey, not a path of rose petals and cool winds, but she sustained on the abundant blessings and goodwill by good humans. Over the years, the care home has grown to become a beacon of hope for lots of needy children who faces adversities.
Our Working Process
YUVATHA FOUNDATION
YUVATHA FOUNDATION runs a care centre dedicated to providing a stable, loving, and family-like atmosphere for children in need. The care centre operate from an own building designed to ensure comfort, safety, and care.
We support children to children to continue their education encouraging them to grow academically. Also, supports them to participate in extracurricular activities like dance, music, and sports. While a few children need additional academic support, most of them perform well, achieving good marks and ranks in their classes. With proper guidance, the children are helped to follow a structured daily schedule ensuring discipline and balance in every child’s life. Nourishments to the body through nutritious food and clean water is integral for child growth. As children thrives through playing and joyful moments, we embark on creating joyful memories through periodic outings and picnics, giving the children a chance to relax, explore, and enjoy a fun-filled day.
Supply of Educational materials: The educational materials includes notebooks or at times textbooks, writing and art materials, school bags, uniforms, tiffin boxes etc. In the several villages of Bhadrachalam district and the outskirts of urban Hyderabad, over a period of time, nearly 500 children were supported with various education materials. The activity usually taken up at the beginning of academic year depends on the funds we are able to raise.
Funds higher education of adolescents: 20 adolescents from 3 districts are supported with financial aid for higher education for the last seven years.
Environmental awareness programs: On World Environment Day, organized environment awareness program to create awareness on deforestation, rainwater harvesting and sustainable agriculture
Cleanliness drive during floos –disaster relief: For disaster relief support, organized cleanliness drive in Vijayawada district for giving flood relief supplies and cleaning the households. Also, created awareness on waste segregation and disposal, ill-effects of plastics, water and sanitation
Tree plantation: As a part of World environment day activities, in Ranga Reddy District, along with village youths planted 100 trees.
Create awareness among vulnerable population on HIV/AIDS, immunization, mother & child care, nutrition and mental health: Conducted 6 awareness programs among the migrant population and in two villages on various health issues like HIV/AIDS, immunization and nutrition of young and adolescents, mental health and well-being, water and sanitation and MCH. 100 people has attended the awareness programs.
Organize health camps among the vulnerable and mobile population: Conducted health camps for 200 people from migrant population in Medchal and Ranga Reddy districts Organizes periodic health camps in 2 villages in association with private practitioners.
Supply of winter essentials for the elderly poor on the road & nearby communities: Distributed winter wears like monkey caps, blankets, socks and shawls for 500 people living on the streets and elderly every year in three districts of Warangal, Medchal and Ranga Reddy.
Who We Are
Registered in 2015 as a Trust under the Indian Trusts Act of 1882, Yuvatha Foundation contribute towards create a world where every child can grow towards their full potential.
Ms. Regunta Shobha Rani, Founder, born in a poor household around the Singneri mines in Khammam, faced many hardships and challenges throughout her childhood. She fought several wars – on gender roles, child marriage and a lot more. She struggled to gain eduation, be independent and live on her own terms. Her personal journey of struggle and resilience opened her eyes to other vulnerable children around her. With deep compassion and unwavering commitment, she stepped forward to support the underprivileged children who lack access to food, shelter, education, and medical care.
Her mission is rooted in a genuine desire to uplift young lives and provide opportunities for a better future. Through her tireless efforts and heartfelt service, she continues to bring hope, dignity and transform the lives of countless children in need, to become a guiding light for their brighter tomorrow.
Get Involved
Sponsor a child to change their life!
The children welcomed at our home comes from vulnerable conditions and are facing adversities to meet their daily requirements. By sponsoring a child, you are helping the child to get nutritious food, meet basic necessities and their school expenses. You are providing wings to their dreams and supporting them to build their potential and capabilities and empower their desire to succeed. We will regularly update you with the progress they are making with your support. You can avail tax deductions under section 80G by sponsoring one child every month.
Sponsor a meal!
Sponsor a meal or day’s meal in our care centre. An absolute treat to our inmates: a way of celebrating your dear and near ones birthdays or other important events in their life or a space to display the respect for your dear departed members. Please reach out to us for further details. Tax exemption under section 80G for paying for meals and not for meals in kind.
Sponsor in Kind!
We welcome support for children in kind too. You can buy things, send or drop to us. If you are looking for clearing off or get rid of your things before you shift your location from Hyderabad, you can share your furniture, domestic appliances, vessels, clothes or toys to us which are in good operating condition. Let us know what you would like to donate and we will be happy to be in touch. The donations in kind will not be eligible for tax exemption under section 80G.
Sponsor our events!
If you wish to support us in our periodic community level support initiatives, please register with us, we will be happy to be in touch you and inform the support required from you for each of our events. The support can be in kind or money. These events can organising health camps in the community, disaster-relief activities, distribution of winter wears for the roadside dwellers, support health awareness programs, cleanliness drives, tree plantation drives, picnics or holiday activities for children, distribution of education materials, school/college fees for needy children! whatever it is, we will be happy to receive your help in money, kind or your time and effort!

From contributing your knowledge and skills for any specific work we have or to organise or network or to help us raise funds, or build or repair our institution! Many ways to help us! Let us know about your interest. It will be a joy to see the results of your contribution!
You will see the immediate results of your work by watching the progress of the children, and will probably learn as much from them as they will from you!
